PBS will air the "Ring Cycle," September 11-14, and the four operas will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 11 by Deutsche Grammophon.
The operas, which were conducted by James Levine and Fabio Luisi, star Bryn Terfel, Jay Hunter Morris, Deborah Voigt, Eric Owens, Wendy Bryn Hammer, Patricia Bardon, and Jonas Kaufmann.
