PBS to Air Wagner’s Dream Documentary on September 10

PBS will air Susan Froemke’s documentary Wagner’s Dream, a behind-the-scenes look at Robert Lepage’s staging of Richard Wagner’s “Ring Cycle,” which was presented last season by the Metropolitan Opera, at 8pm on Monday, September 10 as part of its Great Performances at the Met series.
PBS will air the “Ring Cycle,” September 11-14, and the four operas will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 11 by Deutsche Grammophon.
The operas, which were conducted by James Levine and Fabio Luisi, star Bryn Terfel, Jay Hunter Morris, Deborah Voigt, Eric Owens, Wendy Bryn Hammer, Patricia Bardon, and Jonas Kaufmann.
