Patricia Hodges, Jim Poulos, Dick St. George Join Robert Vaughn in Geva’s You Can’t Take It With You

Stage and screen star Robert Vaughn — best known for the television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. — will play the role of Martin Vanderhof in Geva Theatre Center‘s production of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman’s Pulitzer Prize winner, You Can’t Take It With You, to run September 11-October 7. Mark Cuddy directs the comedy.

This classic pits the eccentric Sycamore family – prone to spontaneous eruptions of music, dance poetry and fireworks – against the buttoned-up bigwigs of Wall Street and the IRS.

The cast will also feature Melissa Rain Anderson (Essie), Nora Cole (Rheba), Peggy Cosgrave (Mrs. Kirby), Skip Greer (Paul Sycamore), Brigitt Markusfeld (Penelope Sycamore), Jim Poulos (Ed), Robert Rutland (Henderson/Mr. Kirby), Kim Sullivan (Donald), Patricia Hodges (Olga), Loren Dunn (Tony), Nicole Rodenburg (Alice), Ray Salah (Mr. De Pinna), Dick St. George (Boris Kolenkhov), and Davida Bloom (Gay Wellington).

The creative team includes William Clarke (scenic design), Pamela Scofield (costume design), Ann Wrightson (lighting design) and Dan Roach (sound design).
