The Paley Center for Media in New York is presenting Horton Foote: Selected Television Work, three works by the late playwright, in conjunction with the Primary Stages Off-Broadway production of Harrison, TX: Three Plays by Horton Foote.

The series begins with Goodyear Television Playhouse: The Trip to Bountiful (Sunday, August 12 at 12:30pm), about an elderly woman who seeks transcendence from her unhappiness through one final trip to her hometown, starring Lillian Gish, Eva Marie Saint, and Eileen Heckart.

Up next is Studio One: The Traveling Lady (Sunday, August 19 at 12:30pm), starring Kim Stanley, Mildred Dunnock, Steven Hill, and Robert Loggia, which tells the tale of a woman and her young daughter who journey to Texas where they are reunited with their husband and father, who has just been released from prison.

Finally, the Paley Center will present Playhouse 90: Old Man (Sunday, August 26 at 12:30pm), an adaptation of a work by William Faulkner about a chain-gang inmate who is stranded on the flooding Mississippi River, where he rescues a pregnant woman, starring Geraldine Page and Sterling Hayden.
