Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart to Star in Leslye Headland-Penned Remake of Mamet-Inspired About Last Night

Screen Gems will produce a remake of the 1986 film About Last Night, an adaptation of David Mamet’s 1974 play Sexual Perversity in Chicago. Steve Pink will direct the film, which features a screenplay by Leslye Headland.
About Last Night is expected to star Joy Bryant, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, and Regina King. The work follows the trials and tribulations of a couple whose friends frequently get in the way.
Headland’s credits include the plays Assistance and Bachelorette, as well as the film version of the latter.
The original About Last Night film starred Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, James Belushi, and Elizabeth Perkins.
