Joseph Leo Bwarie, who has played the role of Frankie Valli in the first national tour of Jersey Boys for the past four years, left the production on August 12 to begin work on his second solo studio album.

The album will be Bwarie’s second collaboration with producer/arranger Charles Calello. It is expected to feature powerful vocals along with fresh Latin inspired tracks with percussionists Paulinho Da Costa and Tito Puente, Jr. The record release is planned for early 2013.

Joseph Leo Bwarie’s first solo record Nothin’ But Love was a traditional pop/swing record which was featured on the top 10 iTunes Jazz chart.
