Glenn Beatty, Elly Berke, Lori Gardner Set for Abingdon Bay Ridge One-Act Festival

Casting has been announced for the Abingdon Bay Ridge One-Act Festival, to be presented at Christ Church Bay Ridge, on Saturday, August 25 at 7pm.

This evening of three world-premiere short plays was commissioned by Abingdon Theatre Company, and includes Pick of the Litter by Kevin Armento; Canary Yellow by Bo List; and Marvin on the Loose by Jen Silverman. Jan Buttram, Kim T. Sharp, and Bara Swain will direct the staged readings.

The ensemble includes Glenn Beatty, Elly Berke, Lori Gardner, Brian Linden, Susanne Marley, Zach McCoy, Jennifer Rau, Lisa Riegel, Sue Wallach, James Wilcox, and Ruis Woertendyke.

A panel of theatre professionals will choose the festival’s outstanding script, naming one playwright as the winner of The Father Hamblin Festival Award and a cash prize.
