Full Casting Announced for Broadway’s Cyrano de Bergerac, Starring Douglas Hodge

Full casting has been announced for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac, to play the American Airlines Theatre, September 14-November 25, with an opening on October 11. This production of Edmond Rostand’s play will feature a translation by Ranjit Bolt, and be directed by Jamie Lloyd.

Cyrano de Bergerac centers on a long-nosed nobleman who lends his poetic words to a handsome young cadet who is wooing Cyrano’s own unrequited love.

As previously reported, the production will star Douglas Hodge as Cyrano, Clémence Poésy as Roxane, and Patrick Page as Comte De Guiche.

The cast will also feature Kyle Soller (Christian), Max Baker (Le Bret), Bill Buell (Ragueneau), Geraldine Hughes (Duenna & Marthe), Peter Bradbury (Carbon de Castel-Jaloux), Jack Cutmore-Scott (Cuigy), Mikaela Feely-Lehmann (Claire), Andy Grotelueschen (Montefleury & Friar), Tim McGeever (Lignière), Drew McVety (Man #2), Frances Mercanti-Anthony (Amélie, Lise, Mother Marguérite), Okieriete Onaodowan (Man #1), Samuel Roukin (Valvert), Ben Steinfeld (Musketeer).

The design team will include Soutra Gilmour (sets & costumes), Japhy Weideman (lights), and Dan Moses Schreier (sound & original music).
