Fishamble’s Silent Among Highlights of Irish Arts Center Fall Season

The award-winning Irish theatre company Fishamble will return to the Irish Arts Center with Silent, September 6-23.

Written and performed by Pat Kinevane, the work tells the touching and challenging story of the homeless McGoldrig, a man who once had splendid things but has lost it all, including his mind. Jim Culleton will direct with composition and sound design by Denis Clohessy.

Among the other fall offerings are An Evening with Christine Dwyer Hickey (September 25); SongLives featuring Wallis Bird and Niall Connolly (September 28); Between Worlds: Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin in Concert (October 12 & 13); An Evening with William Kennedy (October 30); IAC PoetryFest 2012 (November 2-4); ModErin: Darrah Carr Dance with special guest choreographer Sean Curran (November 16-18); SongLives featuring Mundy with Anthony Mulcahy (November 30); An Irish Christmas: A Musical Solstice Celebration with Mick Moloney and Athena Tergis (December 7-22).
