Evita, The Mountaintop, One Man, Two Guvnors Among Artios Award Nominees

The Casting Society of America has announced the nominations for its 2012 Artios Awards. The awards will be presented on October 29 with ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and at XL Nightclub, Cabaret & Lounge in New York

These annual awards are presented for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. The criteria are originality, creativity and the contribution of casting to the overall quality of a project.


Among the nominees are the Broadway productions of Evita, headlined by Ricky Martin; The Mountaintop, starring Samuel Jackson and Angela Bassett; and One Man, Two Guvnors, featuring the 2012 Tony Award winner for Best Actor, James Corden.
