Eve Danzeisen, Matt Huffman Set for US Premiere of Construction of the Human Heart

Eve Danzeisen and Matt Huffman will star in the US premiere of Australian playwright Ross Mueller’s Construction of the Human Heart, running September 5-16 at the Access Theatre. Brendan Naylor directs the work, which was nominated for the Melbourne Prize for Literature and the Awgie Award for Play of the Year.

Danzeisen and Huffman play a romantic pair of playwrights whose grief following an unimaginable loss starts slipping through the fortress of words they’ve constructed.

The creative team includes Jan Jericho (scenic design), Daniel B. Chapman (lighting design), Summer Lee Jack (costume design), and Mark Van Hare (sound design).
