Cynthia Darlow, James Riordan, Cameron Scoggins to Appear in TACT Production of Brian Friel’s Lovers

Casting has been announced for TACT/The Actors Company Theatre production of Brian Friel’s Lovers, to run September 18-October 20 at Theatre Row’s Beckett Theatre. Drew Barr directs the work, which serves as the first production of the company’s 20th anniversary season.

Friel’s play, set in contemporary Ireland and telling the story of two couples at the beginning of their romantic journeys, will feature Kati Brazda, Nora Chester, Cynthia Darlow, James Riordan, Justine Salata, and Cameron Scoggins.

The creative team includes Brett J. Banakis (scenic design), Kim Krumm Sorenson (costume design), Mary Louise Geiger (lighting design), Daniel Kluger (sound & original music), and Lauren Madden (props design).

First presented in the United States at Lincoln Center in 1968, the work was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play.
