Christopher Innvar, Mary McCann, Mary Beth Peil Set for Atlantic’s Harper Regan
Mary McCann will star in the title role of Simon Stephens’ Harper Regan, to receive its New York premiere from the Atlantic Theater Company at the company’s Linda Gross Theater, September 20-October 28, with an opening on October 10. Gaye Taylor Upchurch will direct.
In the play, a woman decides to walk away from her husband, her daughter and her home. She tells no one where she’s going or whether she’s ever coming back.
The cast will also feature Vandit Bhatt (Mahesh Aslam), Christopher Innvar (James Fortune), Mahira Kakkar (Justine Ross), Jordan Lage (Elwood Barnes), Madeleine Martin (Sarah Regan), Mary Beth Peil (Allison Wooley), Gareth Saxe (Seth Regan), Peter Scanavino (Mickey Nestor), John Sharian (Duncan Wooley), and Stephen Tyrone Williams (Tobias Rich).
The production will feature scenic design by Rachel Hauck, costume design by Sarah J. Holden and original music and sound design by Fitz Patton.
