Chloe Sevigny to Join Cast of IFC’s Portlandia

Stage and screen star Chloe Sevigny will join the cast of the IFC series Portlandia for its upcoming third season. The actress will play Alexandra, a woman who moves in with central characters Fred and Carrie, played by Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.

Sevigny’s credits include the television series Big Love, the upcoming American Horror Story: Asylum, and is an Academy Award-nominee for the film Boys Don’t Cry. She appeared Off-Broadway in What the Butler Saw and recently starred in a New York Stage and Film/Powerhouse Theater’s production of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s Abigail/1702.
