BBC to Air Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special

The BBC will present a 90-minute special in honor of the 50th anniversary of the popular series Doctor Who in 2013, according to published reports.

Titled An Adventure in Space and Time, the program will focus on the creation of the Doctor Who character, which has been played by over 10 different actors, including William Hartnell, Christopher Eccleston, and David Tennant, in the series’ five decades on the air.

The film is written by Mark Gatiss, and will be executive produced by Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner.
