Alicia Silverstone to Join Cheyenne Jackson, Henry Winkler in Broadway’s The Performers

Alicia Silverstone will complete the cast of David West Read’s The Performers. The show will play Broadway’s Longacre Theatre beginning October 23, with an opening set for November 14. Evan Cabnet directs the production.

As previously announced, the comedy also stars Jenni Barber, Daniel Breaker, Ari Graynor, Cheyenne Jackson, and Henry Winkler.

In The Performers, two high school friends (Jackson and Breaker) — and the women in their lives (Graynor and Silverstone) — reconnect at the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas. When the night takes an unexpected turn and relationships are threatened, Chuck Wood (Winkler), the hardest-working man in the business, steps in to lend a hand.

The production will have set design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, costume design by Jessica Wegener Shay and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.

Silverstone appeared on Broadway in Time Stands Still and The Graduate. Her many film and television credits include Clueless and Suburgatory.
