Alec Baldwin and Singers Forum have announced the four projects which have been awarded the first-annual Alec Baldwin Fellowship. The year-long program is devoted to the individualized workshopping of each project and provides artists with a safe environment to develop their work. A Festival fo the completed works will be presented in Fall 2013.

The projects include Jennifer Lane’s Harlowe, about a young woman who tries to reconnect with her body and family after losing her sense of touch; Leegrid Stevens’ The Dudleys!, which finds a family dealing with a recent death through a classic video game; Joseph Koenigsburg’s Whiffman, On the Mound, about a former ball player who finds that the slugger who bested him at the World Series has admitted to using steroids; and the musical ‘Til Death Do Us Part by Allen Mogol and Bobby Cronin, about a young preacher’s wife and mother of two who end her marriage with murder.
