Santino Fontana, Joanna Gleason, et al. Set for Roundabout’s Sons of the Prophet

Full casting has been announced for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Off-Broadway production of Stephen Karam’s new play Sons of the Prophet, to play the Laura Pels Theatre, September 30-December 23, with an opening on October 20. Peter DuBois will direct.
The play centers around Joseph Douaihy, and is described as “a refreshingly honest take on how we cope with wounds that just won’t heal, and the funniest play about human suffering you’re likely to see.”
In addition to the previously reported Tony Award winner Joanna Gleason as Gloria, the cast will feature Yusef Bulos (Bill), Jonathan Louis Dent (Vin), Santino Fontana (Joseph), Lizbeth Mackay (Mrs. McAndrew), Dee Nelson (Dr. Manor), Chris Perfetti (Charles), and Charles Socarides (Timothy).
The design team will include Anna Louizos (sets), Bobby Frederick Tilley, II (costumes), Japhy Weideman (lights), and M.L. Dogg (sound).
