Ron Rifkin to Guest Star on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU Season Premiere

Tony Award winner Ron Rifkin will guest star on the season premiere of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU, according to a report on TVGuide.com. He will play a defense attorney for a Dominic Strauss-Kahn-esque character (to be played by Franco Nero).

Rifkin won a Tony for his performance as Herr Schulz in Cabaret. Among his other Broadway credits are Wrong Mountain, A Month in the Country, Broken Glass, The Tenth Man, and The Goodbye People. Among his film and television credits are Alias, L.A. Confidential, and The Negotiator. He may be best known for playing Stan Holden on Brothers and Sisters.
