PHOTO FLASH: Judy Gold Rings Opening Bell at NASDAQ

Judy Gold rang the opening bell at NASDAQ on the morning of Tuesday, August 16.

Gold is currently starring Off-Broadway in her newest solo performance, The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom at the DR2 Theatre through October 22. Amanda Charlton has directed the production.

The autobiographical piece, co-written with Kate Moira Ryan, explores the performer’s life as a lesbian mother of two and the television enthusiasms of her own childhood. The two have also collaborated on the original songs for the show, which has additional material by Eric Kornfeld and Bob Smith.
