Miami HEAT Superstar Dwyane Wade brought his sons Zaire and Zion and nephew Dada to see Spider-Man, Turn off the Dark on Broadway at the Foxwoods Theatre on Tuesday, August 9. Afterwards, they visited with Reeve Carney, who stars as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the show.

The musical is inspired by over 40 years of Marvel comic books. It follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically altered spider and must learn that with great powers comes great responsibility.

The production features original direction by Juiie Taymor, direction by Philip Wm. McKinley, a book by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and a score by Bono and the Edge.

In addition to Carney, the principal cast for the production includes Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane Watson, Patrick Page as Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin, and T.V. Carpio as Arachne.
