New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players Announces 2011-2012 Season

The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players has announced its 2011-2012 season, which will kick off with a GALA Opening Concert at Peter Norton Symphony Space on October 16 at 5pm.

The afternoon of will feature a champagne gala performance of favorite G&S scenes, songs, parodies, overtures, and the ever-popular tour-de-force challenge – audience requests performed impromptu with full orchestra.

The season, under the artistic and music direction of Albert Bergeret, will continue at the Peter Norton Symphony with The Grand Duke (November 13); The Pirates of Penzance (December 28-January 1); Patience (March 11); and Iolanthe (May 19 & 20).

All performances will feature the full score and dialogue with NYGASP’s cast and orchestra in staged productions.
