Jamie Ballard, Raymond Coulthard, Jodie McNee, et al. Set for RSC’s Measure for Measure

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced complete casting for Measure for Measure, which is scheduled to begin performances at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon on November 17, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Roxana Silbert will direct the production, which will officially open on November 23.

The dark comedy centers on what happens when the duke of Vienna cedes control of the city to a hypocritically virtuous official.

The company will feature Jamie Ballard (Angelo), Jodie McNee (Isabella), Raymond Coulthard (Duke Vincentio), Bruce Alexander (Provost), Teresa Banham (Francisca), Geoffrey Beevers (Escalus), Paul Chahidi (Lucio), Laura Darrall, Catherine Hamilton (Mariana), Youssef Kerkour (Abhorsen), Joseph Kloska (Pompey), Sam Marks (Friar and Froth), Annette McLaughlin (Mistress Overdone), Ian Midlane (Elbow), Sarah Ovens (Juliet), Mark Quartley (Claudio) and Daniel Stewart (Barnardine).
