Harry Belafonte, Diane Keaton, John Lithgow, et al. Set for LIVE from the NYPL

The New York Public Library has announced its schedule for the Fall 2011 season of LIVE from the NYPL, to be held at the New York Public Library’s landmark Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, located on Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street.

Theater-related guests will include Argentinean author and playwright Ariel Dorfman (September 26); avant-garde stage director Robert Wilson (September 30); actor and author John Lithgow (October 11); actor, singer, and songwriter Harry Belafonte (October 12); DEF JAM with Russell Simmons & other special guests (October 14); and actress Diane Keaton (November 14).

Additional events will be held with Mary Beard, Tom Brokaw, Joan Didion, Umberto Eco, Edmund de Waal, Gilberto Gil, Shea Hembrey, Erroll Morris, Stacy Schiff, folk/pop musicians Josh Ritter, Wesley Stace & friends, and Walls & Bridges with the Villa Gillet.
