Emily Bergl to Star in Reading of The Scientific Method

Emily Bergl, Arjun Gupta, Gretchen Hall and Carra Patterson will be featured in a reading of Jenny Connell’s The Scientific Method. Giovanna Sardelli will direct the piece, presented as part of Ars Nova’s OUT LOUD free play-reading series dedicated to developing new work by emerging playwrights, on Monday, August 8 at 7pm.
In the play, research scientist Amy Garmey isn’t seeing funding, and she isn’t seeing results, but she is seeing a ghost. With a mentor who’s her rival, a rival who’s her boyfriend, and a best friend who’s a dead scientific celebrity, Amy’s on the brink of madness. Or, the scientific method.
