Darren Criss to Replace Daniel Radcliffe in Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

Glee star Darren Criss will assume the role of J. Pierrepont Finch in Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, playing at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre, for a strictly limited three week engagement, January 3-22. He will take over the role from Daniel Radcliffe, who plays his final performance on January 1.

Criss plays Blaine Anderson on the hit FOX series. His stage credits include co-writing and performing in A Very Potter Musical, and he also contributed material to Starship: The Musical, which recently played in Chicago.

Directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, with a score by Frank Loesser and a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert, follows a wily window washer on his riotous rise up the corporate ladder.

The musical also currently features 2011 Tony Award winner John Larroquette as J. B. Biggley, Rose Hemingway as Rosemary Pilkington, Tammy Blanchard as Hedy La Rue, Christopher J. Hanke as Bud Frump, Rob Bartlett as Twimble/Wally Womper, Mary Faber as Smitty, Ellen Harvey as Miss Jones, 2011 Emmy Award winner Michael Park as Bert Bratt, and Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist Anderson Cooper as the voice of the narrator, in a cast of 30.
