Amy Irving, Jeremy Shamos et al. Set for MTC’s We Live Here

Mark Blum, Jessica Collins, and Amy Irving will join the previously reported Betty Gilpin, Oscar Isaac, and Jeremy Shamos for Manhattan Theatre Club’s world premiere of We Live Here, written by Zoe Kazan. Sam Gold will direct the production at New York City Center – Stage 1, with previews from September 22, and an opening on Wednesday, October 12.

In the play, Allie Bateman’s (Collins) wedding to Sandy (Shamos) is Sunday. When Dinah (Gilpin), her precocious younger sister, returns to their parents’ (Blum and Irving) home for the festivities, she brings more than anyone expected: a new boyfriend (Isaac), whose hidden history resurrects passions and painful memories for the whole family.

The creative team will include John Lee Beatty (scenic design), David Zinn (costume design), Ben Stanton (lighting design), Ryan Rumery (sound design), and Thomas Schall (fight direction).
