Sharon Lawrence to Guest Star on One Tree Hill

Stage and television star Sharon Lawrence will guest star on the hit series One Tree Hill this season as the mother of Austin Nichols’ character, Julian, according to EW.com.

Lawrence won a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award last night for her work in Orson’s Shadow. She has appeared on Broadway in Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, and Cabaret, and recently appeared Off-Broadway in Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

She received three Emmy Award nominations for her work as Sylvia Costas on ABC’s NYPD Blue and a separate nomination for her guest-starring role on Grey’s Anatomy. Her many other television credits include Drop Dead Diva, Ladies Man, Desperate Housewives, Hidden Palms, and Privileged.
