The Baryshnikov Arts Center will present the American premiere of Moscow’s Theater Art Studio’s The Boys, to run October 6-10 in the Jerome Robbins Theater.

Sergey Zhenovach has directed the production, which, as previously announced, will be seen as part of the Ringling International Arts Festival in Florida subsequent to its New York run.

The piece is the young company’s signature adaptation of a portion of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, in which Alexei Karamazov befriends a group of schoolboys and convinces them to stop bullying a dying peer.

The creative team includes production designer Maria Utrobina, lightning designer Evgeny Vinogradov, and composer Grigory Gobernik.
