Mia Barron, Brian Hutchison, Jeremy Sisto, et al. Set for MTC’s Spirit Control

Jeremy Sisto will star in Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of Beau Willimon’s Spirit Control, to be presented by Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center – Stage I, October 7-December 25, with an opening on October 26. Henry Wishcamper will direct.

In the play, Adam Wyatt (Sisto) has the perfect family and a perfect record as an air traffic controller. But when the pilot of a small plane suffers a heart attack, Adam must talk a terrified passenger through an emergency landing. What happens next will link him inextricably to a woman he’s never met, and set the life he once knew irrevocably adrift.

The cast will also include Mia Barron, Charles Borland, Aaron Michael Davies, Brian Hutchison, and Maggie Lacey. The production will feature scenic design by Robin Vest, costume design by Jenny Mannis, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Broken Chord and projection design by Aaron Rhyne.

Sisto made his Broadway debut in Festen, with additional stage credits including include the Goodman Theatre production of Galileo and the Geffen Playhouse production of Take Me Out. The actor is well known for his television roles, including Billy in HBO’s Six Feet Under and Detective Cyrus Lupo on Law & Order.
