Marcia Gay Harden, Gloria Reuben to Return to NBC’s Law & Order: SVU

Tony and Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden and actress Gloria Reuben will return to NBC’s Law & Order: SVU this season in guest-starring roles, according to TVGuide.com.

Harden will reprise her Emmy Award-nominated portrayal of Federal Agent Dana Lewis. Her character debuted in 2005 under her alias, Star Morrison, in a case involving a white supremacist group and murdered schoolchildren. Meanwhile, Reuben will reprise her role as U.S. Attorney Christine Danielson.

Harden won the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for God of Carnage, and previously appeared on Broadway in Angels in America. She won the Academy Award for her portrayal of the artist Lee Krasner in Pollock, and received an Academy Award nomination for Mystic River.

Reuben’s stage credits include the Public Theater’s production of Stuff Happens. She is best known for her work on NBC’s ER.

Law & Order: SVU stars Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Richard Belzer, B.D. Wong, Tamara Tunie, and Dann Florek. In addition, film star Paula Patton is joining the cast this season.
