Lainie Kazan to Appear on ABC’s Desperate Housewives

Tony Award nominee Lainie Kazan will have a recurring role on the ABC series Desperate Housewives this season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kazan received a Tony nomination for My Favorite Year. She also starred on Broadway in Funny Girl, Bravo Giovanni, and The Happiest Girl in the World. Her film and television appearances include The Nanny and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. She appeared last season on ABC’s Ugly Betty and FOX’s Til Death.

As previously reported, Tony Award nominee Vanessa Williams is joining the cast of the show this season as well. The series’ stars include Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria Parker, Marcia Cross, Ricardo Chavira, Doug Savant, and Tuc Watkins.
