Jesse L. Martin to Host Shakespeare in Southampton Fundraiser

Stage and screen star Jesse L. Martin will host The Public Theater’s Shakespeare in Southampton fundraiser, to be held at the Southampton home of Roz and Richard Edelman on Sunday, August 15.

The event will include an 80-minute, 11 actor adaptation of All’s Well That Ends Well, directed by Barry Edelstein at 5pm. It will be preceded by cocktails at 4pm, and followed by dinner at 6:30pm.

The event will benefit the Public’s Shakespeare Initiative, which includes programming that brings the wonders of Shakespeare to under-served young people and communities around New York City. This programming serves thousands annually and includes Shakespeare Lab, Jr.; Summer ShakeUp; Mobile Shakespeare Lab; and A Midsummer Day’s Camp.

Tickets are available for $150 (including cocktails and performance only), or $500 (includes cocktails, performance, and dinner.)
