Gotham Chamber Opera Announces Casting for El gato con botas (Puss in Boots), Directed by Moises Kaufman

Gotham Chamber Opera has announced casting for Xavier Montsalvatge’s El gato con botas (Puss in Boots), to run October 2-10 at The New Victory Theater. As previously reported, Moises Kaufman will direct the production, which will be conducted by Neal Goren and have puppetry direction by Mark Down.
The company will feature Kevin Burdette, Peter Castaldi, Ginger Costa-Jackson, David Salsbery Fry, Steven LaBrie, Karin Mushegain, Valerie Ogbonnaya, Kyle Pfortmiller, Nadine Sierra, Craig Verm, and Leah Wool.
The creative team for this collaboration between Gotham Chamber Opera, the New Victory, the Tectonic Theater Project and Blind Summit Theatre will include Nick Barnes (puppetry design), Andromache Chalfant (scenic design), Clint Ramos (costume design), and David Lander (lighting design).
