Emily Skinner, Peter Mazurowski, Neil McCaffrey, Gabriel Rush to Join Broadway’s Billy Elliot

Emily Skinner will join the cast Billy Elliot the Musical as Mrs. Wilkinson on October 2, replacing Kate Hennig, who departs on October 1.

Skinner is currently playing the role in the show’s Chicago company. She received a Tony Award nomination for Side Show and her many Broadway credits include The Full Monty, James Joyce’s The Dead, and Dinner at Eight.

As previously reported, Peter Mazurowski will join the cast in the title role and Neil McCaffrey and Gabriel Rush will join the company, alternating in the role of Michael in the coming weeks., Liam Redhead will play his final performance as Billy on August 29 and Michael Dameski will play his final performance in the role of Billy on September 5.

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the show tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The show won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Jacob Clemente, Alex Ko, and Dayton Tavares also rotate the role of Billy. The company also features 2009 Tony Award winner Gregory Jbara as Dad, Carole Shelley as Grandma, and Jeff Kready as Tony.
