Emily Bergl to Play NYC’s Metropolitan Room; Join Cast of ABC’s Desperate Housewives

Emily Bergl will bring her cabaret show, Kidding on the Square, to the Metropolitan Room in New York on August 26, 28 and 31 at 7pm, and August 30 at 9:30pm.

As previously reported, she will join the cast of ABC’s Desperate Housewives this season as Beth, the new wife of Paul Young (played by theater veteran Mark Moses).

Bergl has appeared on Broadway in A Touch of the Poet, The Rival, The Lion in Winter, and Ah, Wilderness!, and Off-Broadway in Becky Shaw, Some Americans Abroad, Fiction and Where Do We Live?. In addition, she has appeared frequently in Los Angeles Theatre Works’ productions, most recently in She Stoops to Conquer.
