Christian Campbell, Gregory Itzin to Join Cast of HBO’s Big Love

Christian Campbell an Gregory Itzin have been cast in recurring roles on the HBO series Big Love, according to published reports.

Campbell will play a high school math teacher who has Cara Lynn (played by Cassi Thomson) as a student. Itzin will be playing a senator who is a rival to Bill Henrickson (played by Bill Paxton).

Campbell’s stage credits include Magnetic North, Great Expectations, and Reefer Madness. On television, he recently made guest appearances on CSI: Miami and NCIS.

Itzin recently played Kenneth Lay in the Broadway production of Enron. He received a Tony Award nomination for The Kentucky Cycle and his other stage credits include Waiting for Godot, The Birthday Party, Endgame, Shipwrecked! and Dangerous Corner. He also received an Emmy nomination for his role as President Charles Logan on the hit series 24. As previously reported, he is also scheduled to have a multi-episode arc on USA’s Covert Affairs.
