Casting Announced for Boomerang Theatre’s 2010 Repertory Season

The Boomerang Theatre Company has announced casting for its 2010 repertory season that will run September 9 – October 10 at the Connelly Theatre.

Christopher Fry’s Venus Observed (September 9 – October 3), directed by Cailin Hefferman, will feature Ryan Lee (the Duke), Saluda Camp (Perpetua), and Jason Loughlin (Edgar), along with Spencer Aste, John Greenleaf, Samantha Ives, Paul Nugent, Buzz Roddy, and Kristen Vaughan.

Philip Emeott’s staging of Uncle Vanya (September 11 – October 10), translated by Carol Rocamora, will feature James Leach (Vanya), Richard Brundage (Dr. Astrov), Lauren Kelston (Yelena), and Eve Udesky (Sonya), as well as Joseph Mathers, Dolores McDougal, Ann Parker, Ed Schultz, and Bill Weeden.

Tim Errickson’s Endless Summer Nights (September 17 – October 9) will be the third production in the season, directed by Christopher Thomasson. The world premiere play centers on a man and a woman, once romantically involved, who begin to rekindle their relationship after a chance meeting. The company will feature Michael Criscuolo (Sam) and Synge Maher (Tracy), along with Bret Hoskins, Nora Hummel and Joseph Mathers.

The creative team for the productions will include Cheryl McCarron (costume design), Nikki Black (scenic design), Kia Rogers (lighting design), and Carrie Brewer (fight direction).
