Billy Porter to Perform with Complexions Contemporary Ballet at August 10 SummerStage

Broadway star Billy Porter will perform with Complexions Contemporary Ballet in their new work, “On Holiday,” a specially commissioned piece for City Parks Foundation celebrating the music of Billie Holiday, at SummerStage in Central Park at 8pm on Tuesday, August 10.

Porter’s Broadway credits include Miss Saigon, Five Guys Named Moe, Smokey Joe’s Café, and Grease, and he will play Belize in Signature Theatre’s upcoming Off-Broadway revival of Angels in America. He is also a popular cabaret and recording artist and won “Vocalist of the Year” on the original Star Search.
