Beyonce, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Usher, Among MTV Video Music Award Nominees

Broadway veteran Usher, Fela! producer Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce Knowles, and American Idiot writers Green Day are among the nominees for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The awards will be presented on September 12.
Superstar Lady Gaga led the pack with 13 nominations, more than any artist in VMA history.
Other nominees include Justin Bieber, Dan Black, Coldplay, Drake, Eminem, Florence + the Machine, Enrique Iglesias, Alicia Keys, Ke$ha, Niki Menaj, MGMT, Muse, Katy Perry, Pink, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift.
