Will Ferrell to Star in Dreamworks’ Oobermind

Tony Award nominee Will Ferrell will voice the title character in DreamWorks Animation’s Oobermind, according to Variety.

The film, to be directed by Tom McGrath, focuses on a supervillain who finds life quite boring without an adversary. Tina Fey, Brad Pitt, and Jonah Hill are also set to lend their voices to the comedy, which is set for release in fall 2010.

Ferrell starred on Broadway in You’re Welcome America: A Final Evening With George W. Bush, which received a Tony nomination for Best Special Theatrical Event. His many films include Land of the Lost, Elf, and Anchorman and he is well known for his work on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.
