UK Tour of High School Musical 2 Begins August 22

The new UK touring production of High School Musical 2 Live On Stage, will kick off at the New Wimbledon Theatre on August 22, before embarking on a nine-month tour.

The show, written by David Simpatico and directed by Jeff Calhoun, follows the East High Wildcats during their summer break, during which Troy, Gabriella, Taylor, and Chad all land work at an exclusive country club. It features all the songs from the popular 2007 film including “What Time Is It?,” “You Are The Music In Me” and “Fabulous.”

The show will star Liam Doyle (Troy), Nikki Mae (Gabriella), Les Dennis (Mr. Fulton), Matt Kennedy (Ryan), Laura Hall (Sharpay), Carlton Cornell (Chad), Shakira Akabusi (Taylor), Dina Tree (Martha), and Emma Dukes (Kelsi).
