Metropolitan Room’s "Metrostar" Names Semi-Finalists

Cornelius Bates, Liz Lark Brown, Carole Bufford, Danielle Grabianowski, and David Gurland are the semi-finalists for the Metropolitan Room’s “MetroStar Talent Challenge,” and will perform in the next round of the competition at 7pm on Monday, August 17. The event is hosted by Lennie Watts, and Roy Sander, Bill Boggs, and Jay Rogers will judge the August 17 competition.

The winner, who will be crowned on August 31 after two semifinal rounds, will receive a week-long, prime-time engagement at the club in the winter, plus a multi-track Live at The Metropolitan Room recording of the new show. The two runner-ups will open for the winner and receive demo recordings of their appearances.
