Len Cariou, Cheryl Freeman, Sebastian LaCause, et al. Set for York’s Once Upon a Pastime Reading

Tony Award winner Len Cariou will direct and headline the York Theatre Company‘s free reading of Once Upon a Pastime, a new musical by Lee Robert Schreiber and Terry Cashman, to take place at 3pm on Thursday, August 6.

In the musical, Mac, a widowed ex-ballplayer, now a bar owner in a shabby Southern town, is having a bad day. Things becomes worse as he is confronted with ghosts from his past, an unhappy daughter, a dying best friend, an African-American singer named Whitey, and three travelers who may or may not be baseball gods.

The cast also features Dan Bogart, Cole Burden, Cheryl Freeman, Ikum Isaac Fryman, David Green, Sebastian LaCause, Matt Landers, Adam Monley, Brooke Sunny Moriber, Benjamin Perry, Richard Ruiz, and Henry Strozier.
