Jay Rogers, Lorinda Lisitza, David Brian Colbert Set for Eltinge Reading

Jay Rogers, Lorinda Lisitza, and David Brian Colbert will star in a reading of Colbert’s Eltinge, a new musical play based on the life and career of Julian Eltinge, to be held as part of Woodstock Fringe Festival’s “First Look” series, on September 3 at 8pm. Wallace Norman will direct.

Eltinge, a female impersonator, was one of vaudeville’s most recognized luminaries in his day, but by 1940, the glitter had long since faded on the star that was once considered the “Most Beautiful Lady on the Stage.”
