Jason Butler Harner to Play Stage Manager in Off-Broadway Our Town

Obie Award-winner Jason Butler Harner will take over the role of the Stage Manager in the Off-Broadway production of Our Town, currently at the Barrow Street Theatre beginning August 25. He replaces director David Cromer in the role.

Also joining the cast are Susan Bennett as Mrs. Soames, Nathan Dame as Sam Craig, and Armand Schultz as Doc Gibbs. Jeremy Beiler will assume the role of Simon Stimson. The complete cast also includes Rob Beitzel as Howie Newsome, Kati Brazda as Mrs. Webb, George Demas as Constable Warren, Jennifer Grace as Emily, Wilbur Edwin Henry as Professor Willard, Adam Hinkle as Joe Crowell, Ronete Levenson as Rebecca Gibbs, James McMenamin as George, Ken Marks as Editor Webb, Seamus Mulcahy as Wally Webb, Lori Myers as Mrs. Gibbs, Jay Russell as Joe Stoddard, Armand Schultz as Doc Gibbs, and Jason Yachanin as Si Crowell.

Harner played Ivan Turgenev on Broadway in The Coast of Utopia trilogy. He received an Obie for Hedda Gabler, a Drama Desk nomination for The Paris Letter, and other credits include The Gingerbread House, The Invention of Love, and Orange Flower Water.
