Broadway’s Hair Recoups Investment

The Broadway revival of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre has recouped its $5.67 million investment in just four months. The show won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical.
The production is directed by Diane Paulus and stars Gavin Creel (Claude), Will Swenson (Berger), Caissie Levy (Sheila), Sasha Allen (Dionne), Megan Lawrence (Mother), Bryce Ryness (Woof), Allison Case (Crissy), Andrew Kober (Margaret Mead/Dad), Darius Nichols (Hud), and Kacie Sheik (Jeanie).
The creative team includes set designer Scott Pask, costume designer Michael McDonald, sound designer Acme Sound Partners, lighting designer Kevin Adams, and choreographer Karole Armitage.
