Tony nominee Allison Janney is the next guest on The American Theatre Wing's Downstage Center podcast, with the interview available starting today.

During the course of the interview, Janney discusses her work on the musical 9 to 5, her training at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts; and what it was like to be directed by Paul Newman in her first production in college. Additionally, she talks about her work on television's The West Wing and her other Broadway appearances, including the revival of A View from the Bridge, in which she co-starred with Anthony LaPaglia.

Hosted by American Theatre Wing Executive Director Howard Sherman, Downstage Center offers weekly in-depth interviews with the leading artists and professionals working on stage today. Podcasts are available through iTunes or an RSS feed.
