Clarence Derwent Award winner Aaron Tveit will return to Broadway's Next to Normal on September 7. Tveit, who originated the role of Gabe in the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of the musical, had been on a leave of absence this summer to star in the world premiere production of Catch Me If You Can in Seattle.

Tveit's other Broadway credits include Wicked and Hairspray. He can be seen in the upcoming film Howl opposite James Franco and in the film Ghost Town, as well as in the recurring role of Tripp Van Der Bilt on the CW's Gossip Girl.

Next to Normal features music by Tom Kitt, book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, and direction by Michael Greif. Also featured in the cast are Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Jennifer Damiano, Adam Chanler-Berat, and Louis Hobson. Kyle Dean Massey has been playing the role of Gabe in Tveit's absence.
