Michael Tucker and Jill Eikenberry will play Mother and Father in the York Theatre Company's Mainstage presentation of Enter Laughing: The Musical, September 3-October 12, with an opening September 10. Stuart Ross will direct.

The show, which was originally titled So Long, 174th Street, is based on Carl Reiner's novel and features a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Stan Daniels. The musical tells the hilarious story of a stage-struck, woman-struck teenager who blunders his way into manhood via showbiz.

The cast will also feature George S. Irving, who will reprise his original role of Marlowe, along with Josh Grisetti (David), Paul Binotto (Don), Ray DeMattis (Foreman), Erick Devine ((Pike), Betsy DiLellio, Janine LaManna (Angela), Gerry McIntyre (Don), Robb Sapp (Marvin), and Emily Shoolin (Wanda). Matt Castle is the Music Director and will perform the role of Roger.

The production will feature scenic design by James Morgan, costume design by David Toser, and lighting design by Chris Robinson.
